Meet Bonnie Blais -
Founder of Haven Clear

Hi, I’m Bonnie Blais, proud Lake Orion resident of 25+ years, mom to two amazing kids (my son is currently serving in the Air Force 💙), and co-founder of Haven Clear with my daughter, Clare.
​
My journey has been anything but one-note — but at its core, it’s always been about people, creativity, and transformation.
​
I graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, MI, and began my career as a graphic designer and production manager in the advertising world. That creative spark led me to co-open a successful retail store inspired by Anthropologie, with locations in both Lake Orion and Rochester. As a co-owner, buyer, stylist, and event planner, I learned the art of curating beautiful spaces and meaningful experiences.
Over the years, I’ve blended entrepreneurship, design, and real estate — building a career in property management, short-term rentals, home flipping, and real estate sales. I hold a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification and have a deep appreciation for helping families during life transitions, both big and small.

I’m also a daily fitness enthusiast, a longtime yoga instructor, and a lover of snowboarding, hiking, and travel. I see design in everything — and I bring that eye to every project Haven Clear takes on. But more than anything, I love connecting with people and helping them move forward with confidence, peace, and a beautifully cleared space.
Meet Clare Butterfield -

Clare Butterfield graduated from Lake Orion High School in 2024 and is currently beginning her college journey at Oakland Community College, all while helping lead the way at Haven Clear.
​
Clare brings a natural love for cleaning, organizing, and creating calm from chaos, along with a calm, steady presence that clients immediately feel at ease with. She's always been highly responsible and detail-oriented — two qualities that make her an invaluable part of every project we take on.
​
Growing up watching her mom run multiple businesses, Clare developed an appreciation for hard work, entrepreneurship, and connecting with people. She’s also a nature lover at heart — having visited many of our country’s national parks — and enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors.

Clare is proud to be building Haven Clear alongside her mom and loves the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives, one home at a time.
